In 2019 at 32 years old, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer—and my world stopped. I had 2 young kids. An almost 3 year old and almost 9 year old. I WAS THIRTY TWO. I was terrified. I thought the worst.

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center stepped in and changed everything. They didn’t just treat me—they helped me fight, and they helped me win. They supported me through everything. From the person who greeted me at registration, to my surgeon, the nurses. Everyone, everyone showed me compassion. Everyone gave me hope. They let me know I wasn’t fighting this alone.

I was Lucky, we caught it early, removed the thyroid, and did some radioactive iodine therapy. Yep. Radioactive for 3 days where I had to isolate. BUT I’M HERE! AND I’m cancer free. 🖤

All thanks to the people at Roswell who had my back at day one. Who helped me fight. 💪🛎️

Now it’s my turn to give back.
